Protect Your Investment

At Cantech Automotive, we service vehicles based on the principle that your vehicle is an investment that should be protected through proper maintenance.

Many of today’s vehicle manufacturers extend the service periods for vehicles under warranty. For example, vehicle manufacturers lengthen oil service intervals and use “lifetime fluids” in transmissions and differentials.

The extended service intervals minimize the manufacturers’ responsibility to provide basic maintenance for vehicles which are under warranty but increase the vehicles’ owners’ responsibilities in the event that their vehicles develop problems. In our estimation, a manufacturer’s servicing guidelines are applicable if and only if the vehicle is leased or if the owner plans to dispose of the vehicle during or at the end of the vehicle’s warranty period.

Cantech Automotive utilizes vehicle service procedures designed to enhance vehicle reliability: we believe that a properly serviced vehicle will have fewer problems during ownership and will also have a higher resale value.

We recommend oil changes every 3,000 miles for mineral oil and every 6,000 miles for synthetic oil, and we suggest that a vehicle’s brake fluid should be replaced every two years. Moreover, we believe that a full vehicle service, which includes changing all fluids (oil, transmission, differential, brake, and coolant fluids), filters, and spark plugs, should be perfomed every 60,000 miles.

Whether it is a Ford or a Ferrari, your car deserves proper maintenance to insure its performance, integrity, and reliability.

Your Cantech Automotive service advisor is always prepared to discuss your vehicle’s service requirements with you.
