Cantech Automotive is seeking a highly motivated, energetic person with European and specialty car knowledge, and a high level of customer service and attention to detail. An ideal candidate would have working knowledge of all aspects of an automotive dealership - sales, service, and parts. Effective communication, computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are a must.

Job Qualifications

  • Pre-Owned Automotive Sales experience
  • Service Writing experience
  • Vehicle Acquisition experience
  • Retail Automotive Service experience
  • Understanding of basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles.
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools and material used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
  • Service writing or inventory vehicles and potentially for service clients.
  • Sound understanding knowledge of DMV sales paperwork (training will not be provided)
  • Retail automotive service experience
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions with diligence
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with customers.
  • Use sound judgement, research, and excellent interpersonal skills to make offers on vehicles and close sales.
  • Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goal.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Use and check multiple lead sources daily to find potential prospective vehicles for inventory.
  • Make cold calls with prospects who have their vehicles advertised for sale, both online and as walk-ins to the showroom.
  • Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting.
  • Review vehicle condition reports.
  • Willingness to learn new and innovative automotive technologies.
  • Inspect and accept vehicles arriving onsite.
  • Use the programs Mitchell 1 TeamWorks SE, Outlook, and MS Office fluently.
  • Organization and follow up skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Create and execute reconditioning plan to prepare vehicles for sale
  • Valid In-State Driver's License and an acceptable, safe driving record.
