Vehicle Acquisition Specialist
Cantech Automotive is seeking a highly motivated, task driven, energetic, European, and specialty car enthusiast with a high level of customer service and attention to detail. An ideal candidate would have working knowledge of all aspects of an automotive dealership – sales, service and parts. The scope of the position ranges from collector grade European and specialty cars as well as highly desirable, low production late model vehicles. Strong communication, computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are a must. This position will mainly consist of, but is not limited to:
- -Pre-Owned Automotive Sales
- -Vehicle Acquisition
- -Review vehicle condition reports
- -Inspect and accept vehicles arriving onsite
- -Create and execute reconditioning plan to prepare vehicles for sale.
- -Use sound judgment, research, and excellent interpersonal skills to make offers on vehicles and close sales.
- -This role will primarily make cold contact with prospects who have their vehicles advertised for sale, both online and as walk-ins to the showroom.
- -Use and check multiple lead sources, daily to find potential prospective vehicles for inventory.
- -Associated DMV and Bank/Finance paperwork.
- -Knowledge of Mitchell 1 Team Works and Deskmanager DMS programs – A plus!
Organizational Relationships:
This position interacts daily with Service Customers, Sales Managers, Service Advisors, General Manager, support staff and other associates.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Extremely self-motivated
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
- Demonstrated communication, prospecting, and interpersonal skills.
- Organization and follow-up skills.
- Experience and desire to work with technology.
- Valid In-State Driver’s License and an acceptable, safe driving record
- Sound understanding and knowledge of DMV sales paperwork (training will not be provided)
