This 1974 Jaguar E-Type is a Series III roadster finished in silver over a black leather interior and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. This E-Type went through a vigorous 2 yearlong restoration process! The ending results are:
· European Bumper Conversion
· Suspension & Brake Overhaul
· Clutch Assembly Replacement (master and slave cylinder included)
· Stainless steel exhaust system
· Brand new black convertible soft top
· Black top boot
· Headlights
· Stainless front and chrome rear bumpers with over-riders
· Triplex windshield
· Doors, windows, trunk life and hood rubber seals replaced.
· 15’ chrome wire wheels replaced and 205/75 BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial red stripe tires installed
· Full brake and suspension system replacements (rotors, calipers, flex lines, master cylinder, ball joints, shocks)
· All 4 Zenith carburetors were rebuilt.
· Replacement of fuel lines, fuel pumps, a new fuel tank, water pump, coolant hoses, thermostats, drive belt and Revotec electric cooling fan conversion
· Interior refurbishing done by Aldridge Trimming of Wolverhamption, England consisting of black leather seat, carpets, matching door panels, dash top pad, black seat belts, and trunk trim panels.
· Refurbished the air-conditioning system, a Retrosound AM/FM radio, and a padded center console armrest.
· Wood rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel, Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, and 7k-rpm tachometer. Ancillary instruments include analog clock, battery voltage, oil pressure, water temperature and fuel level gauges.
